Modern Look & Feel
Mail & Deploy Release 3 comes with a more polished look and feel and a completely new web interface. We have optimized all dashboards and dialogues and made user guidance even more intuitive.
Report designing made easier
Our new report designer gives you a head start by offering a new interface that is intuitive and fun to use. You can build professional reports by simply dragging and dropping different report elements. It also supports high-DPI displays and scales correctly.
A significant new feature in that regard is the Mail & Deploy Datasource Browser. It allows you to navigate through all your Qlik Sense® and QlikView® data sources. It displays the data source structure (fields, objects and sheets) and allows you to easily create reports out of the available data sources using drag-and-drop operations.
A new self-service experience
Whether working remotely or in the Office, the Mail & Deploy Hub puts all the information out of Qlik® in convenient report formats that decision-makers need to do their job. The new Hub web UI offers simpler navigation, more information at a glance, report previews and enhanced filter options as well as HTTPS support.
And with the Mail & Deploy self-service reporting extension decision-makers get easy access to Qlik Sense® data, can freely slice-and-dice data and extract quick insights and are able to make data-driven business and operational decisions regardless of their technical background. It enables business users to subscribe to or request reports or export report elements/sheets and visualizations and more by offering a straightforward and easy to navigate extension that facilitates the reporting process.
Uniform sharing possibilities
Regardless of whether email, file system, FTP or Sharepoint – with every report distribution you can now choose between report document, file collection (several individual files), zipped file collection (optionally with password) or external file.
Advanced user directory support
You can now define user directories (CSV, XML, Active Directory) which can then be easily synchronized in a task. It is now much easier and logical in the new version.
Fully traceable reporting process
In addition to the improved Execution Calendar, Mail & Deploy version 3 also offers a new possibility to monitor and analyse your executions and your Mail & Deploy activity in a Qlik® app. You can dig deeper into all your executions logs and see execution types, current statuses, results and also log entries. This helps you to localize precisely any occurring errors and offers greater control over the reporting process and the execution of tasks.
Extensive API access for powerful Qlik® data integrations
Qlik® users and developers who want to expand the possibilities of Mail & Deploy with their own self-developed software can use our extensive API for accessing Mail & Deploy reports out of QlikView® and Qlik Sense®.
