Last week, we finally went to Las Vegas to take part in this fantastic event as an emerald sponsor!
After 3 years of a purely online event, it was a live and in-person event again this year with more than 3000 attendees that got also streamed live. And Qlik not only hosted its 18th global conference this year dedicated to the latest advances in data integration and analytics but also a proper celebration of its 30th anniversary.
It featured keynote presentations like that from John Volanthen, who as part of a multi-national team was the first rescue diver to reach the trapped youngsters who had been missing for nine days in a Thailand cave. Many interactive sessions with thought leaders and subject matter experts in the Qlik-ecosystem, and various product and customer success demonstrations.
Mike Capone, CEO of Qlik, delivered a balanced keynote that gave a great introduction to Qlik’s new messaging and to the pre and post-the-intended acquisition of Talend. Certainty & Intelligent Automation were keywords in his speech as Qlik is looking to help us all reduce risk by increasing certainty with data to deliver intelligence automagically. He also talked about SmarterBI, but it is more than BI-much more.
And Josh Good, vice president of global product marketing at Qlik, revealed that another key element of the company’s strategy involves an early venture into the world of capacity pricing as Qlik is introducing capacity-based pricing across its portfolio for SaaS.
For us, it was amazing to meet and reconnect with so many valued customers and partners in person! And we were grateful to receive so wonderful feedback!
Our booth was buzzing with a great vibe! And we had tons of great discussions and demonstrations with potential new users and partners-to-be at our booth!
Plus listening to all the inspiring and insightful speakers and masterminds! The keynotes were spot on and to the point!
