Fiat Austria automates sales reporting with Mail & Deploy

FCA Austria GmbH is the official sales company for the Austrian market of the brands FCA, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, FCA Professional, Abarth and Jeep. Around 120 employees look after a network of more than 200 dealers and service partners in Austria and Italy.

Since 2015, FCA Austria has been using Qlik as a central business intelligence solution to efficiently control the market and automates sales reporting with Mail & Deploy. A total of 86 active users are working on making decision-relevant information available in real-time using simple and uniform sales data analyzes and reports for ongoing sales activities.

In particular, financial data is analyzed to support the profitability/scenario calculation for retailers, results analyses (target vs. previous year) are made in the area of ​​sales / aftersales, reports and dashboards for holistic considerations for 1st level sales and aftersales about dealer groups, brands, sales zones and geographical areas are created as well as internal control statements for the HR department.

Analyses, expanded by the geographical component, are also carried out at FCA Austria and reveal geographical patterns and relationships that are not visible in a simple, tabular representation. The overall sales activity in Austria is graphically illustrated, a detailed view is made possible by interactive zoom, and so the use of resources for sales and marketing activities is improved.

At FCA Austria, Mail & Deploy is an extremely effective tool for distributing the data generated with Qlik accordingly

The automated reporting with Mail & Deploy includes sales and segment reports to several 100 recipients in Austria and Italy. Cross-brand analyses and ad-hoc analyses are sent to the retailers in variable levels of detail in order to demonstrate synergies and opportunities in the market environment and for regular coordination of target pursuit.

For this purpose, reports with Qlik data in Excel and PDF formats are created and distributed to the recipients according to different filter criteria and in several tasks.

In addition, there are at least 4 reports twice a month for the sales area. Furthermore, HR reports are automatically distributed to decision-makers and, on request, the various reports can be created and sent quickly and unbureaucratically.

The Qlik Reporting Suite increases the acceptance of the analysis solution by the users through standardized and clear reporting, was implemented quickly and is easily expandable and, above all, Mail & Deploy saves an enormous amount of time: The monthly effort for report generation was reduced from ½ day per month to only 15 minutes.
