Run Application
The Run Application Action can be used to start an application or a batch file from a given file location within a task.
A good use case for this could be, Mail & Deploy generates a lot of PDF-files and after that, a Batch file is called with run an application that will ZIP all the files and copy them to several network shares.
Mail & Deploy will consider the application to have successfully completed if it returns exit code 0.
The following attributes can be set:
Application Path
An expression that evaluates to the full path to the application or batch file to be executed.
Arguments
An optional expression that evaluates to the arguments to be passed on to the application or batch file.
Number of Retries
The maximum number of retries, should the application not finish with exit code 0.
