The problem
Engage Together turns complex data into clear, actionable insights to support collaboration, transparency and progress in ending and preventing human trafficking. The Tennessee project shows the scale of this work: its research phase, based on research conducted in 2025, had to deliver an assessment of strengths, gaps, needs, vulnerabilities and opportunities for all 95 counties of Tennessee, plus separate assessments for each of the four regions defined by the TBI Human Trafficking Task Force and for every single county. The project is a collaboration led by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Tennessee Counter-Trafficking Alliance, in partnership with Engage Together.
Why Mail & Deploy
- It generates PowerPoint and PDF reports directly from Qlik data.
- It produces the reports at every level, from statewide down to each of the 95 counties.
- In Tennessee, it was used to create the Statewide Assessment, the Regional Reports, the County-Level Reports and the Legislative Review.
- The project was delivered in partnership with Pomerol Partners, a data analytics and business intelligence consultancy. Qlik.org is also among the project partners.
What changed
- Using the 2026 Tennessee reports as an example: a Statewide Assessment covers strengths, gaps, needs, vulnerabilities and opportunities for community-wide engagement across all 95 counties.
- Regional Reports provide assessments for the four regions West, Middle, East and Upper East.
- County-Level Reports provide assessments for all 95 counties.
- A Legislative Review covers Tennessee's legislative efforts against human trafficking from 2000 to 2025, with recommendations on what is needed next.
- Organizations can use the reports to identify unmet needs and gaps in their community, guide strategic planning and strengthen collaboration with local partners.
